THE BIRTH OF OUR PROGRAMS

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on November 17, 1911, at Howard University in Washington, D.C. by three undergraduate students – Edgar Amos Love, Oscar James Cooper, and Frank Coleman, along with their faculty advisor Dr. Ernest Everett Just.  We are the first African American fraternal organization to be founded at a historically black college.
